About Chandani Afghans
I fell in love with the Afghan Hound as a child. I have always been drawn to the beauty, elegance, and strength of these kings among dogs. After years of studying the breed and searching for the perfect puppy, my dreams were answered in the spring of 2003, when my first Afghan, an eight week old black-masked red male came into my life. Since that day, my life has never been the same.
Later, after attending an all-breed dog show in San Antonio, I decided to try my hand at showing Afghans. It was with this in mind that I purchased a young, exotic blue and creme domino bitch. Now I am actively involved as an exhibitor of Afghan Hounds in conformation shows, lure coursing, and obedience trials.
Although brief, my sojourn into the world of Afghans Hounds and dog shows has provided me with many wonderful experiences, memories, and new friends, and of course, the opportunity to share my life with the finest dogs I have ever known. Now I cannot imagine life without an Afghan Hound...
